The other day, I told my husband I felt like I wasted 10 years of my life - having gone to college and not pursuing the things I really loved to do in life. When I first decided to go to college I was going to go for fashion or interior design. I always had a good eye for things like that. After a not so great first semester of college, I left school and when I came back I changed my major, wanting a completely new beginning. My efforts led me into the field of marketing, which I grew to love also and did pretty well for myself in the corporate world. But I find myself still drawn to interior designing. (guilty pleasure) Anyhoo, I’ve decided to put my ideas into fruition and feed the part of me that I never indulged so many years ago. I’m so excited about it too. I went to Joann Fabrics the other day and I felt like I was in an alternate heaven! Craft stores are my perfect getaway. In just a few more weeks or so, my online store should be opening and I’ll be able to showcase and sell my pieces. AND if nobody in the world buys them, I’ll be able to enjoy them myself. LOL #Iwin
Thank God for a supportive husband. He came home the other day with this antique chair that I get to reupholster. I will post a picture of it soon. It may take me a little minute to finish it since it’s my very first one!
